This „First Look“ is a little bit late but at least I can now offer some subtitles in the same post^^.

There are no subtitles on the disc itself, but some (typical) extras: Both creditless EDs and some commercials/trailers for the series, some photos of a person in the Pandaneko costume and a audio commentary for both episodes by Ayahi Takagaki (Hiiragi) MAKO (Koume) and Seiji Mizushima (Director).

Picture Quality

Similar to Vol. 1 they seem to have added digital noise but it’s looks really fineand is definite improvement to a DVD.

Screenshots

I used DGIndexNV to create the screenshots.

External Subtitles

I used the English fansub subtitles by pwq and retimed them.

I can’t give exact instructions how to make the subtitles work, but I can give some hints:

1) Both episodes are stored in the 00002.m2ts that is located in the BDMVSTREAM folder.

2) This file can be played in Media Player Classic when the correct codecs are installed (ffdshow or CoreAVC), however the copy protection will normally prevent this.

3) There are two tools I know that should be able to remove the copy protection on the fly.

4) If the file can be played, you can open the subtitles under File->Load subtitle in Media Player Classic.

The ass-file is quite big because I embedded the fonts.

Download it here.
